Vodafone

I-Site

Installed at 3500+ GSM Base Stations

Issue

The Monitoring and Access control system should meet the following expectations:

  • Indoor Temperature Monitoring
  • Water Leak Monitoring
  • Device/Power Health Monitoring
  • Diesel Generator Monitoring and management
  • Burglary and Fire Alarm Monitoring
  • Keyless Door Access
  • Electricity Metering
  • IP Camera Integration
  • Maintenance Service Management
  • Sustainable operation
  • Extended Working Temperature

  -4 ° F to +158 °F

Sensplorer Solution

Sensplorer Base Modules , required I/O modules and interface modules were installed to each base station shelter.

Access control is based on Mifare contactless technology.SMS and Mobile Apps can be integrate to complete the secure site access.Temporary access rights can be assigned for the people should enter the site for maintenance or service purposes, too.

The base station is always monitored in terms of security and  sustainable operation. If any abnormality is detected, Sensplorer management software informs and directs the service team related with the detected problem. This feature provides very fast, flexible and cost effective solution for service management.

Sensplorer also monitors mains electricity, DC power supply and battery status and conditions.

Smoke detector , water leak sensor, temperature sensor, motion sensor is connected to the Sensplorer Base Unit which pushes those information to the central management monitoring software.

Sensplorer uses 3G GSM for network connection to the management software. It communicates with the local devices ( IP Camera, DC Power Source, etc…) via 10/100 LAN port. Sensplorer acts as a network router within base station.

System has been running since 2010 . Sensplorer is still in operation for 7 days /24 hours…
